The following are actual letters from our agency’s clients. The originals are on file in our office.
After my wife Gloria arrived in the U.S., I took out a policy. I also took out mortgage insurance in case anything happened to either one of us. As it turned out, Gloria was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and I lost her in late February. In early February of last year, I was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Disease, but I am seeing an alternative doctor, and every time I get a blood test, things are improving. It was the shock of my life when I found out my condition. I expected to grow old with Gloria, but it didn’t happen. That’s why it’s important to have life insurance and mortgage insurance, because you never know what hand life is going to deal you. I was prepared for both of these dire events.
This letter is to tell you Hartford is the best insurance you can have. I had two policies on my husband when he died. One with Hartford for $150,000 and another one for $150,000 with a different company. My Hartford agent handed me a check for $150,000 and the other company did not pay at all as they said his heart condition was pre existing, which was not true. This other policy was cheaper than Hartford but I got nothing from them. Hartford only asked when and where he died.
To whom it may concern, I found the enclosed while cleaning my brother’s room. He passed away May 13th. I don’t know if he actually took out this policy with your agency or just made a simple inquiry. My brother had a car accident and was in a coma before he died. If he did insure the house with your agency please let me know because I can provide you with a copy of the death certificate and court documents showing that I am the executer.
Sincerely, Diane Y.
Dear (agent), I am so sorry I yelled at you when you called tonight to see if we were ready to buy that insurance you showed us six months ago. It wasn’t your fault that Jack didn’t buy it then and wanted you to call when the new drapes were paid off. Obviously, he didn’t expect to die so soon!! Now I’m trying to sell this house with those new drapes-before I loose it. Talk about an irony!! Please don’t feel bad I don’t blame you. If there is anything you can learn from this it’s to tell people my sad story if they put off buying insurance. In life you never know.
I was purchasing life insurance since I owned a home. The agent told me about a personal disability insurance that he sold which would pay me if I got hurt or sick and could not work and do my normal job. I personally didn't think I needed it. He explained to me the benefits of the insurance if I was injured and could not do my job. I went ahead and purchased the disability plan together with my insurance policy. After paying on it for a couple of years, I was thinking of canceling the policy. What happened was I saw a few co-workers get injured on the job. All of them ended up being off work for at least nine months. They all said how tough it was to live on the money they got from workman’s compensation and how they had gone through their savings. One guy had to file bankruptcy. So I decided to keep the policy that I was thinking about canceling, just in case. I did get hurt on the job and could not work. I have been off of work for a year and a half. I did try to go back and lasted about six weeks, and again had to go back off again. I just want you to know that I am so glad I bought the disability insurance policy, that the Hartford agent talked me into buying. It has paid me just like he told me it would. My policy was set up to pay me $1,500.00 per month for two years. If it wasn't for that $1,500.00 per moth after a year and a half, I probably would have lost my home or had to file bankruptcy. When you are making good money and have to drop to $490.00 a week on workman’s compensation, anybody would go broke in a short amount of time. I just want to say Thank You for paying me that money every month without any hassle from you. I have heard of other companies that sell disability insurance. When their policy owners get hurt they never pay off the way they claim they will, and always hassle their policy owners trying to find any way they can to stop paying them the way they said they would. Thank you for selling the best disability policy in the industry.
Three years ago I purchased a life and disability insurance policy. I had second thoughts about purchasing the disability portion of the policy as I thought it would be a waste of money. Three years later I as diagnosed with breast cancer. This disability policy allowed me to take time off from work to undergo surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. I have had to take more time off this year for more treatment because the cancer has spread to my bones and lungs. I would not be able to work during this time. My policy pays me enough to pay my house and car payments. I am so thankful that I made the decision to purchase the disability insurance. This extra money has releaved the financial worries that usually go along with a serious illness and has allowed me to focus on recovery and spending time with my family and friends.
It has now been just over a year since I purchased my annuity with you. None of us had any idea that the stock market would crash 6 months after I started with you in February 2008. Had it not been for your advice, I probably would have put this money into the variable annuity with market risk. To say that I am happy about not losing between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00 today is an understatement. Because of the initial interest bonus, my annuity is worth more today than when I started. In addition, my withdrawals have made my house payments this last year. Thanks again for your advice and service this last year and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with you and AIM.
I want to thank you for helping me and my young boys through this most difficult time. I still can’t believe my wife has passed on. We purchased this mortgage insurance never dreaming that just two years later one of us would be gone. I want to thank you for helping us secure this protection and for getting me this check in just two weeks. No longer having my wife’s paycheck each month (as a teacher) I can us this $260,000 check to completely pay off the house.
This is hard to believe but true. Over the years we had been asked several times to compare our auto policies. Like so many people our thinking was that it would be a waste of time. We also thought that all insurance companies were basically the same, right? Additionally, we were insured by a company that catered to teachers and union members, people like us. This is what was hard to believe. We are now saving almost $950.00 a year with AIM - All Insurance not just this year but in the years to come. We are happy that Evelyn was able to help us understand that companies are like people...different from each other. In fact she found two different companies that would save us money. Of course we went with the one that saved us the most.
I wanted to take the time to say, Thank you, in regards to my new Car Insurance Policy. I am a recent grad trying to adjust to the real world and the cost of things these days just are not as affordable as it used to be in this market. I was struggling to pay my insurance issued through Liberty and unknowingly they changed my rate due to an unfortunate accident. When unplanned things happen it’s a crummy feeling when a service you’re paying for doesn’t have your back. I was not sure where to turn. When hearing about AIM I was open to testing what could be done for me and I was honestly very hopeless due to other major companies telling me the same cost over and over. However, you came through and lowered my bill by $100, which doesn't sound like much, but honestly makes a world of a difference considering the place I am at in my life. I wouldn't have been able to save this first and foremost without your friendly and helpful service. The process didn't take long and you took the time to check things out for my personal situation. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and cared about. I have hope that there are still companies out there who have values to help people and not just raid their pockets. I encourage you and your staff to keep up the great work! It doesn't go unnoticed!
